HUNDREDS OF APPLICATIONS

The fact that the Government is inundated with applications for lottery money was mentioned by tho Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. J. A. Young) when replying to a Mountain House deputation at Dawson Tails this weekend.

The Minister indicated that the whole of New Zealand, had gone wild in connection with such applications. He produced a portfolio and an index showing hundreds of applications, already iv hand for participation in lottery profits, and said that others were coming to1 hand every, week.
