that certain objectionable features, such as late tackles, obstruction, and rough play generally seem to1 be creeping into the game, and asks all unions and referees to do everything in their power to stamp out these undesirable practices. It is thought that a good deal can be done by rlubs to suppress these practices, and the Auckland association is specially requested to see that all clubs under its jurisdiction are advised of the Kew Zealand Union s wishes in this matter.
