The Canadian Constructor, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from, Montreal, Is expected to arrive at Wellington about noon on Monday. The tanker Brunswick is expected to arrive at Wellington late on Monday or on Tuesday morning from Singapore, via Australia. She will leave for Auckland the day after arrival. THE IRINI. - The tanker Irinl is reported to have left Colombo on July 5 for Auckland. She is expected to arrive at Auckland towards, the end of next week. OTIRA LEAVES MONTEVIDEO. The Oti'ra, which left Wellington on July 7 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe, sailed from Montevideo yesterday afternoon. THE WAIKAWA. The Walkawa from Los Angeles is now expected to arrive at Auckland on August 6 and at Wellington on August 10. AWAHOU TO LAY UP. The Aivahou, which is due here on Tuesday from Lyttelton, will bo laid up for a week, being replaced by the Koutunui. NOTICE TO MARINERS. Tho Marine Department advises that the following procedure will be employed in future to show tidal streams information on "all new charts and new editions of charts: —(1) Alb information relating to tidal streams, whether in the form of tables, or notes giving tlme3 of slack waters and rates of streams, will in future bo i collected at a convenient place on tho chart, and referred to by means of a special symbol, A In diamond, at the positions for which tidal stream information is given. The letter In the diamond gives the referenco to the stream Information. (2) No tidal stream information other than this symbol will ever bo inserted amongst the soundings, except, references to eddies. (3) The use of tidal stream arrows will be. discontinued. (4) On chart No. 5011' the following note is to be Inserted under the heading "Tides and Tidal Streams," and immediately above H.W.I?. & C IXh 25m, etc. :—"".'■ ; ' "A in diamond, B in diamond, C in diamond, etc.: Chart gives information regarding the tidal streams at the positions occupied by these symbols." Rungltauo, which is due to reach Auckland from London next Wednesday. Tho remaining members of the ship's company whose term on the New Zealand station has expired will leave Auckland for London by the Rarigitiki two days after the arrival of the Rangltane.
