SYDNEY, This Day

At tho inquest in the Perkins- case, the Coroner found that Herbert Perkins murdered his wife and two children, and then committed suicide while temporarily insane.

Herbert Francis Perkins, 43 years of age, a letter-carrier at Enfield, battered his wife, his daughter, aged twelve, and a baby with a trenching tool; all are dead. A small boy was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Perkins committed suicide, almost severing his head from his body. Neighbours stated that Perkins had boen worrying over a departmental inquiry. .
