WELCOME AT DARJEELING
(Eeceived July 28, 2 p.m.) CALCUTTA, July 27. Mr. Hugh Euttledge, the leader, with five members of the Everest Expedition, has arrived at Darjeeling from the base camp. Five others, including Mr. Birnie, aro expected today. The party was warmly welcomed.. All aro fit, except Dr. McLean and Mr. Wood Johnson, who aro in hospital, and . Mr. Birnie, who has a frostbitten foot.
