MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Police and summons cases were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court today by Mr. E. Page, S.M. John G. Dymond and Edward J. McLaughkin were each fined £2 for being found unlawfully on licensed premises after hours. .

Cyril John Hnwke was. admitted to probation for a period of six months on a charge of stealing timber valued at 10s, the property of the Wellington City Council.

A fine of ■£2 was imposed on Robert Stanley Green for failing to pay an instalment of the unemployment levy.

On four chnrges of obtaining credit by fraud, Margaret Lyons was fined £1 -and ordered to pay expenses amounting to £5 2s, in default one month's imprisonment.
