NEW YORK, July 24.
The opening of the New York Stock Exchange for a short session iind the Wheat Exehango at Chicago undjer Government regulations, inaugurated a general recovery of security aiM commodity prices.
Stocks rose one to ten points op a relatively small turnover of 3,41!>,0d0 shares in three hours' trading.
Wheat advanced about throe-,cents, then dropped to the minimum uncacr the Government's orders. Cotton Hose 1 dollar 70 cents to 2 dollars 10 cents a bale. .. ■ .i The dollar weakened, the pouutTßclosing at 4 dollars 67J cents, risiing 3| cents. |
