The president (Mr. Neville J. Laski, K.C.) opposed tho boycott on tho ground of the grave danger of reprisals on Jews in Germany.
According to tho "Daily Herald" the decision threatens to split the ranks of British Jewry, of which a largo section desires official recognition of the boycott, which is already operating on a largo scale. The fooling is so intense that 500 Jews on Sunday threatened an East End shopkeeper who, if was alleged, sold German "goods. They picketed liis shop and attempted to dissiiado customers from entering.
