(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") DUXEDIN, This Day. With last week's return of 84oz Bd\vt the Okarito dredge has closed down for a few days lor overhaul. For the previous four weeks the total gold won was 3450z lOdwt, and total time worked 480 hours. Total non-working time was 96 hours. Total yardage treated. 32.000 yards (average of 63% cubic yards per hour). , Average value of ground (on basis of gold worth £4'per ounce) is lOd per cubic, yard. Nokomai reports a wash-up of loOoz. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . CHBISTCHURCH, July 24. The Mahakipawa Goldflelds' return for last week was 220z. LAKE VIEW AND STAR RECORD. Lake View and Star, Ltd., Western Australia, treated 44.779 tons ore in June for a total revenue of £102,400, the value being estimated at £6 per ounce, and including Australian exchange. Working expenses were £48,524, and development expenses £901, a total of £43.425, which left a profit of £52.975. Capital expenditure included special development £4733, mine preparation £1885, and plant and machinery £9597. The tonnage treated represents a record for the Golden Mile, and exceeds the company's output for last May by 163 tons. Golden Dnwn Gold' Mines,1 Limited (Owharoaia reports that for the 12 workins days ending July 15, 429 tons realised £958, not including exchange and premium.
