COSTER BALL FRIDAY NIGHT

The Town Hall next Friday night will present a truly amazing sight when, the hundreds of-dancers who have already bought tickets for the Coster Ball arrive in their coster finery. All tho tables have been booked, and those who do not wish to be disappointed should buy their tickets immediately at ( tho Bristol, as they arc gelling very/rapidly. Coster costume gives endless scope for disguise, but those who do not wish to "(leek themselves" can biiy paper coster hats and neckerchiefs at tho hall.

Tho committee has collected a true coster supper, all of which has been donated free, and saveloys, oysters, corned beef, and potatoes will be a few of the items on the menu. A donation of home-made pickles would bo gratefully received by the supper committee. Everything else has been given in largo quantities. -',

"Donbank" was' on fete on Saturday night, when Mr. and Mrs. R. Morris en-, tertained their guests and friends at a delightful iiifonual dance. The occasion was an anniversary one, and guests spent a particularly happy time dancing, a delicious supper ' also being served. Mrs. Morris word a black lace frock with shoulder spray of freesins. During tho evening Mr. Bert Hickford sang,'and Mr. Whitcomb, as "pioneer" guest, voiced tho congratulations of all and thanks to Mr.' and Mrs. Morris for such a pleasant evening. Dancing took place in the diningroom to excellent orchestral music, and supper was also served there.
