MR. JOHN STEVENS
' (Received July 22, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.
Mr. John Stevens, aged 79, tho father of the Premier, died suddenly in Sydney, while the Premier1 was on holiday in Northern Queensland. This is the second bereavement the Premier has suffered since his accession to office, his mother having died on December of last year at the age of 74.
