PIXIE PEOPLE: Well, we still have our Fairy Ring, but, oh dearU if you could see the stains on one green wall, and the cracked ahd blackened windows! You see, ,there was a fire ... so very near that the Fairy Ring, pictures, mushrooms, and all, very nearly disappeared into it. And that would have been a picnic; for how could I have remembered the pixie names of twenty-five hundred of you? ... not to mention ages and addresses and suchlike? Imagine when Postie arrived. And if we hadn't, then it would be all right; but if we had . . . well, no wonder I'm glad the Ring is still safe! Animal Page happens next Saturday night, elves. This week there came two photographs from "Flying Arrow" one of himself, and another of his five-puppies-in-a-row! They're so splendid that I'd like you to see them in the Fairy Ring. . . .
