SCHOOL COMPETITION
Owing to the shortage of grounds the primary school competitions have been seriously delayed, and only two series of matches have been played so far. The season will be confined to the present term. All things considered, however, the boys are settling down well, and some excellent combination is being shown. The boys are adapting their game to the Association/ football grounds on which about hal? tho matches are played. They are very keen and some of the matches have produced interesting results. The senior game between Hataitai, last year's champions, and South Wellington, was one of tho best to date, Hataitai winning after their opponents had equalised early in the second spell.
