NGATEA BOY KILLED

THAMES, This Day.
Samuol Johnston, aged 12 years, was killed at Ngatea tliis morning through a collision with a. motor-car while riding a bicycle. A funeral cortege of three cars proceeding from Ncthcrton to Pukekoho with the infant child of Mr. Reginald Alexander Workman, of Nethertou, was passing through Hgatea. The boy was on his wrong side. Ho was avoided by the first car but was struck by the second, which was being driven by Mr. Workman. The boy's head was struck by tho handle of tho rear door, and he died before ho could be taken away by the Thames ambulance.
