In the' first round of the Tingcy Cup at Manor Park J. L. Barnard and W. S. Banbeat A. McClure and H. Payne 2 and 1, H. Sherwood and C. McKinney beat E. A. Rodgers and J. Barker 4 and 3, and 11. Pope and E. Palliser beat H. Mehaffey and J. Clements 5 and 3. In the third round of the Bree Cup E. Palliser beat I. Duncan 2 and 1, aud A. Hendry beat H. Pope 1 up. In the third round of the Jackson Cup H. Sherwood beat S. Hough 7 and 6, 11. Payne beat NY Jackson G and 5, and J. Clements beat G. Maroon 4 and 3. The 18-hole medal was won by V. Hay with 76. Other good cards were: J. L. Barnard 78, F. Page 78, and J. Forbes 78. In the fourball bogey J. Burns and V. Hay tied with A. Butler and F. Page, 3 up. .The 18-hole bogey was won by F. Page, 1 down. During the weekend J. L. Black visited the course, returning a 78 off the stick. The course record is 70, 33 e,aeh way, held by R. M. Stratmore.
