HUTT SUPERIOR
Hutt were better in all departments •of the game than University, and won by .3 goals to.l. The game was played on the Hutt Recreation Ground, which was very heavy. This fact handicapped University, who were not able to play their usual short-passing game. As a result, the torwards were ■ somewhat clumsy in their movements. The. ground at the Hutt wil •never be in a good playing condition until it is properly, drained. Hutt led 3-nil at half-time, but in the < second spell the students managed to hold their opponents better' McDonald, Hutt s left wing, played ' an' excellent game. He centres from the> left with as much iorce as-the player on tbe riaht wing. Bollard was outstanding- for University, and was responsible for that team s goal. Phillips (2) arid McDonald scored for Hutt. Mr. B. Ginger and Dr. A. F. Tliekey were the referees. •
