WEEKEND DANCES
SACRE COEUR OLD GIRLS
Memb.ers of the Sacre Coeur Old Girls' Association in Wellington meet several times a year at the Convent at Island Bay for reunions of various kinds, and once a year they hold a dance. This year's dance was held on Saturday night at the Kclburn Kiosk, where a very large crowd of dancers assembled. Bright lights and multicoloured decorations made a gay setting for tho gathering, which was a success in every way.
Graceful demonstrations of the waltz; and the quickstep were given by Mi;-s Orwenethe "Walshe and Mr. J. T. McCoskcr. The programme also included a. number of. "Paul Jones" dances, which were very popular.
Mr;:. M. J. Goodson, • who wore n black lace gown and coatee, was hostess.
The committee comprised Mrs. J. Levin (president), Mrs. J. O'Donovaii, and Misses E. Goodson, vice-presi-dent (who wore a black taffeta frock with coatee of pale,pink crushed velvet, and ruched georgette), K. Redmond (mushroom pink georgette with sequined cape), P. Goodson (gold-dust taffeta with ruched trimmings), N. Cooper (lemon elephant crepe), Maureen Burke- (white angel skin), Moya Burke (ciel blue lace), ft. tturley (turjjuoise blue ring velvet).

Carberry (black georgette with white fur trimming), P. Burke (moss-rose pink mariotte), G. Cowan (duck-egg green organdie), E. Cowan (Killarney green lace), Parncll (amethyst ring velvet), V.
