CADET SHIPS

A series of contests between the cadet ships Northumberland and Cornwall, which are at present in Wellington, was completed this morning, when a Rugby match was played at Scots College between fifteens representing the vessels. The Cornwall's team had a runaway victory by 34 points,to nil, and honours are now even between the vessels. Yesterday morning the Northumberland cadets beat their rivals in. a whale-boat race over a mile course, and in the afternoon teams from the, ships drew in a Soccer match at Scots College.'' .
