GRANT FOR ASSISTANCE

(Britisb Official Wireless.) (Received June 24, 8 a.m.) RUGBY, June 23. The Minister of Health (Sir Hilton Young) announced in the House of Commons that the supplementary estimate of £500,000 would be introduced for the assistance of depressed areas in lieu of tho suggested scheme whereby the more opulent areas should assist those less prosperous.
