BRADMAN BREAKS "DUCK"
Bradman, who openedt,'his winning ticcount with an easy victory in the Maiden Scurry at Napier Park-on-Thursday, is a three-year-old chestnut gelding by Hymestra., who has looked like winning a race for some time past, and now that he has started off he may go on to further success before long, as he is in solid order and is possessed of a useful run at the right end of his races. ' Bradniah' is owned by his breeder, Mr. T. ' White, and he is a half-brother to High. Court, who won several races a Season<9l* two back. His dam is the Mystification mare* Taleteller, a sister to Voluble, who was a useful performer ten or a dozen years ago. .; He began racing in the spring and,prior to Thursday had had a dozen starts, his best efforts.being.seconds to Joystick at Napier Park in March arid td Tareha at Waipukurau at Easter.
