Everyone in the palaco was searching for him. Meanwhile, Autumn sat on her throno watching everything with calm eyes. Suddenly, however, she arose and went out of the room, then burst into tears. Up the stairs she ran, to her favourite spot,the tower. There she flung herself on the cold stone floor and stayed motionless for, some time. Then she sprang up, tossed back her' silky brown hair, smoothed, it, and with a resolute' expression on her face, walked with stately steps, dowri the stairs to a curtained door marked "private." ' Here she stopped, took a gold key from a chain round her neck, and unlocked the door. At once, a tall white bearded old man stepped sternly out. "I have come to let youaut, Winter," said Autumn, then rushed away t6 the seasons' home. Here she waited until her sisters and brother had their reigns, then smilingly went forth. "BANSIDBH" (10).
