600. TENANTS AT WEDDING
Two ships were' chartered by Lord Milton, son and heir of Earl FitzwilHam, to bring more than 600 tenant! and miners from his father's Yorkshire estates at Wentworth, Malton, ' and Cantley, to witness his,wedding to Mis. Olive Dorothea Plunket, daughter of Dr. Benjamin Plunket, formerly Bishop of Mcath, at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin (states the "Daily Mail"). It w-as one of tho most impressive weddings .seen in Dublin for many years. The COO tenants arrived at Liverpool from Sheffield, and while they were in Dublin tho ships served as floatin* hotels. ' Special seats had been reserved in tho cathedral for the tenants, and they also attended the reception by tho bride's father and mother at their beautiful home at St. Anne's, Clontarf, County Dublin. A special clang of twelve bells was sounded at the cathedral, which is believed to have the loudest peal of bells in the world. A BLUE WEDDING. "Miss Plunket chose a plain ice-blue wedding gown, embroidered with pearls, and woro a wreath of orange blossoms tinted with blue. Her bouquet came from Lord Milton's estate. There were ten bridesmaids in tulle dresses of pale blue with St., Patrick's blue to tone, and they carried bouquets.of pale yellow roses tied with St. Patrick'e blue ribbon. The wedding took place on Primrose Day and tho little -train-bearers carrieA silver baskets of primroses. Bryan Gething, the page, was dressed in* an eightecntl\-century suit with a tail coat of St. Patrick's blue and knee-breeches of ice blue. The honeymoon was spent motoring in France.
