Cardinal Moon (Martin) worked attractively in accounting for Digriified March (Leach) by a length'and a half over half a mile in 51-Jfsec. 'They Were together most of the way, but the Night Raid colt left his mate . Hearing the finish. . Joie de Val (Giinn) and Lovecourt (Martin) had a tussle fo,r,pupremacy at the end of seven furlongs, the more ex* perienced mare - winning by half a length.. The last. six furlongs took lmin 22sec, and the last half-mile 54 4-ssec. Tunbridge (Leach), who began with them, tailed off to finish six lengths behind. \ No schooling was attempted. R. J. Mackie has received the four-year-old Lackham—Truny.gelding Lack-; ston, to train, and he was out exercising his new charge this morning.
