ORATORY CONTEST.
The A Tictoria College bebating bociety s annual contest for the Plunket Medal will be held in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Saturday evening. It is expected that the orations will be of a higher standard than usual, as several of the best speakers of last year will be competiuß again, and at least one of the speakers new to the contest is considered to have nn excellent chance.
