WOOL REVIVAL

EXPANDING VALUES NO LACK. OF'CONFIDENCE (Received June 21, 10 aun.) LONDON, June 20. Keviewing the present position of the wool market, the "Yorkshire Observer" remarks-that-the revival in the wool industry is sufficiently general '-to 'suggest a common basis and a sound foundation. The '^Yorkshire Tost" says that there is no indication that the trade has yet seen the full extent of the wave of expanding wool values, and adds that there is no lack of confidence in the present position of the industry. JAPANESE BUYING. Commenting on the Japanese threat to boycott Empire wool, the "Observer" states that this seems incredible because it would jeopardise the huge expansion of Japan's woollen industry. Japan is. dependent upon Australia and New Zealand, and is unlikely to obtain, sufficient-supplies' of wool elsewhere.
