The Hutt course was somewhat heavy, but a number of players engaged in competitions. A fourball bogey competition played on Saturday afternoon' resulted in a tie/ between AT. C. Porter (14) and I>. F. Porter (14) tied for second place with 4 up. A. M. Cousins (8) and L. C. Hemery (8) finished all square. A stroke competition played during Hit ■week-end was -won by D. F. Porter, whose card read 94-18-—7 O. A fourball bogey competition was won "by P. C. Miles (12) and D. J. F. White (ill with 0 up. S. A. Wiren (12) and R. McDonald (12) finished 5 up. C. A. Anderson and P. Adams, 4 up. ■ J.. A. Ronald and C. A. Burgess 3 up, and D. Johnston and R. D. Wraight 2 up.'
