NURSES RESCUE INMATE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) • GREYMQUTH, ■ June 15. • Making his cscapo'from the- Greyrjiouth Hospital on Monday, a mental .inmate'headed' for the lagoon at the rear of the hospital, plunged into 'the water, evidently intending suicide, and would haveachieved his object but for the courageous action of Sister A. M. Becker and Nurse G. B. O'Connor, who followed immediately and with difficulty rescued the man. Dr. Bird and Dr. Bennett, honorary medical officers, reported their action to the board, expressing appreciation of the plucky act, which was the subject of a laudatory resolution at the- board's meeting this evening. j
