CARTKRTON, This Day.
Strong protests continue to be made in all the South Wairarapa towns against tho decision of the Wairarapa Hospital Board to close tho old-established hospital at Greytown and convert it into a home foraged people. Protest meetings have been held in all centres, and resolutions urging the Minister of Health to veto the decision carried. At Pirinoa (Lower Valley) a' petition is being signed in favour of the retention of the hospital.
A deputation representing the . South Wairarapa will shortly place the case for retention before the Minister.
