NEW ZEALAND^ HOPE
NO CUT-AND-DRIED VIEWS
(Received June 15, 11 a.m.)
LONDON, Jure 14.
. Headed by Sir. Forbes and Mr. Masters, tho New ' Zealand delegation arrived all well. Mr. Forbes expressed regret that he had heard nothing of the opening proceodiiigs of the Conference. The people of New Zealand were placing great hopes in the Conference. New Zealand had felt tho full effects of the world-wide depression. The heavy drop in prices necessarily reduced her capacity to buy British manufactures. He thoroughly, approved tho limitation of general debate in tho Conference and tho desiro to obtain quick decisions. He had no cut-and-dried views on any of tho Conference questions. Ho was only eager to c-o-operato in every way towards world recovery. There was no immediate prospect of alteration in the New Zealand exchange, except in accordanco with the decisions of tlio Conference. __^
