BRITISH TRADE RETURNS
(.Received June 15, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON,. June 14. British trade returns for May give imports as £57,294,000 and exports .as £30,765,000; re-exports £3,820,000, compared -with Jlay of last year. Ilia principal increases in imports are meat £415,000, hides and skins £290,000,; non-ferrous metals and- manufactures £304,000, oils and fats £335,000.. .. , fixports of coal £274,000, iron and-steel and manufactures thereof £368,000, nonferrous, metals £410,000. Decreases in imports were living food animals £333,000, and exports of cotton I yarns and manufactures £072,000. Imports into Britain during April totalled £51,151,000, a decrease of £2,076,000 compared with April, 1932. Exports totalled £23,395,000, a decrease, of £11,387,000, and re-exports £3,538,000, a' decrease of £1,103,000. , ; "' ' \
