The following statement has been made on behalf of the family of J the late George Moore, the author: ?'By desire of the family of the late.. Mr. George Moore, arrangements are being made for his ashes to be deposited beneath a cairn upon the island in Loch Carra, in County Mayo, upon whose shores Moore Hall formerly stood." It is understood that there will be! no religious service. A Protestant service was held when the author's remains were cremated at Golders-Green.
