CHARGE OF THEFT
EX-INDIAN ARMY OFFICER ; DEATH DURING INQUIRY (Beceived Jane 6, 11 a.m«) CALCUTTA, June. 5. The death occurred suddenly thit afternoon at the Calcutta Police Head* quarters of Major C. Hargreaves, M.C., late of the Indian Army, while being interrogated as to the charge of the theft of a camera. Major Hargreavea was arrested on a requisition from Lahore and remanded pending escort. H© collapsed and died before a doctor arrived. An inquest will be held tomorrow.
