ALARMING DIMINUTION
USE OF MOTOR-CAR IN SHIKAR
CALCUTTA, Juno 5. The diminution of the number of wild animals in India, owing mainly to the introduction of the motor-car into sliikar, is alarming real sportsmen and animal-lovers. A. move is afoot, sponsored by Sir George Stanley, to form a" society for preserving wild life similar to the organisation existing in South Africa.
