The following is a copy of a cablegram dispatched by the Governor-Gen-eral to'the King on tho occasion of his Majesty's birthday:— I beg on the occasion of your Majesty's birthday to tender on behalf of your-Majesty's Government and the peoplo of New Zealand loyal and affectionate greetings and good wishes and to assure you of their steadfast devotion to your Majesty's throne and person arid their earnest hope for your continued health and happiness.
