Gladys Buszek,. a Winnipeg music teacher, who sued Stanislaus Zbyszko, the Polish wrestler .of international fame, for breach of.promise of marriage, has been awarded lS,0l)0 dollars damages. "I never thought a beautiful and lovely girl like you could love me," Zbyszko is alleged to have written from Australia to Miss Buszek. "I hardly.realise," said Zbyszko, in one of his letters from Sydney, "that my phantom dream is becoming a reality, sometimes even a monster. You are the only- one in my thoughts.?' The girl said he promised to marry her at tho famous shrine of Cracow, in Poland. Later, she found that the wrestler had married.
