ALLOTMENTS MADE
NEARLY FIFTY MILLIONS
(British Official Wireless.) . (Received May 27, 2 p.m.) BUGBY, May 26, A total of £74,540,000 was applied foi when tenders for 2J per cent, conversion loan, 1944-40, and Treasury bills were opened. In the conversion loan £7,719,000 was allotted applicants at £92, receiving 20 per cent, of their requirements and above in full. In bills, for three months, £42,280,000' was allotted to tenderers at £S8 18s 4d, receiving 63 per cent.
