(Germany), 3-6, 11-9, 7-5; McGrath (Australia), and Mile. Adamoff: (France) defeated Satoh (Japan) and Mile. Galleft (France), 6-4, C-3. In the second round F. "Wilde and Miss Henley (Britain) defeated McGrath and Mile. Adamoff, 6-4, 6-1. In the third round Bernard (France) and Mile. Sigart (Belgium) defeated Turnbull (England) and Miss Helen Jacobs (U.S.A.), 6-3, 9-11, 6-4.
