The annual golf match for the Rutledge Cup between teams representing Christ- ' church Cinemas, Ltd., and AVollington .Film Exchanges was played at the Uutt links yesterday, and resulted iv a win for Christchurch Cinemas, 1 up.. The cards were as follows (Christchurch Cinemas team being mentioned first):— Fourball: Roake and Waters beat Sohurcck and Haddock, 2 up; Ashford and Righton beat Walworth and Eskell, 1 up; Russell and Haig beat McGowan and Rutledge, 3 and 2; Young and Braes lost to McClure and Toomcy, 5 and 3. Twoball: Roakc beat Schurcck, 3 and 2; Waters lost to Maddock, 4 and 3; Ashford and Walworth, all square; Righton beat Ebkell, 11 up; Haig beat Rutledge, 2 and 1; Russell lost to McGowan, 2 and 11; Young lost to McClure, 2 and 1; Braaa lost to Toomey, 4 and 3. , r , -> T A trophy presented by Mr. A. tr. McGowan for the pair having the biggest margin over their opponents in the fourball match was won by McClure ami Toomey. A trophy presented by Mr. 1. Maddock for the best ecoro among men on 21 handicap was won by McClure, and one presented by Mr. R. Schureck for the best net score in the twoball match irrespective of handicap and open for competition between all playerd connected with ths picture business, including the cup teams, was won by McClure. The Christchurch Cinemas trophy for the best score in the Wellington Film Exchanges team was won by McClure.
