CONFERENCE VISITORS
ENTERTAINMENT PLANS ELABORATE PROGRAMME ' (British Official WlrelCH.) ■ RUGBY, May 20. A preliminary list of arrangements connected with the entertainment of delegates attending the World Monetary aud Economic Conference is issued.' '■■■'..■ The ceremony of opening tho Conference, to be performed by the King, will take place .on the afternoon of June 12. In the evening the British Government will entertain delegates to dinner at Grosvenor House, when about COO persons will be present.. On June 17 the King will give an afternoon party for the Conference delegates at Windsor Castle.' On June.l 9 the Dominions- Secretary, Mr. J. H. Thomas, will preside at a Government luncheon for Dominion; delegates. '' Tho City of London will offer extensive hospitality to the visitors, and eleven of the City Livery Companies will join in entertaining delegates to dinner on June 20, when a reception by Lord and Lady Londonderry at Londonderry House, Park Lane, will fojlow. Two days later Lloyd's will hold a reception, and on June 26 tho Lord Mayor, the Sheriffs, and the Corporation of London will give a banquet at the Guildhall. : An' evening ' party at Admiralty House will be given by Sir Eyres Monsell on June 28; tho Speaker of the Houso of Commons will hold a reception, on the 30th; a garden party will; be given at Cliveden by Lord and Lady Astor on July 1. ! Apart from these and other special gatherings, facilities will be offered to the delegates to attend such events-as the Royal Air Force display at'Hendon on June 24. '::
