■■; ■■■ ■- •■■:■■■■ .■:>■. • Eighteen members of the Kaitere Han rier Club, Masterton, turned out for a friendly run on Saturday.; The runnera were sent off in two packs over an ideal course of five miles, laid by Messrs. L. Rutherford and J. Burns. An even pacs was held for the entire run. _ Four juvenile members of the club par--ticipated in a race over an easy course of two miles and a half, which resulted in a win,for'A. McDonald, with D. Nelson a close second. ■ , . On Sunday, some excellent training waa done by several members, when a trip to Mitre Flats was made under the leadership of the club captain. The outing was) most enjoyable.
