Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Eicldiford and Miss Pamela Eiddiford, "Woburn," Lower Hutt, will leave for England next month by the Eeinuera. Mrs. Herbert Elworthy,. Tiinaru, arrived in Wellington this morning, and left later for Hawke's Bay, where she will visit her daughter, Mrs. A. P. White. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cooke, Halswell Street, have returned home after a week's visit to Palnicrston North. Miss Gwyneth Bichardson, who, with her mother, has been spending the past four months at Taurauga, will leave Wellington by the lonic on June 1. \ Mrs. J. F. Vogel, Lower Hutt, who has been visiting Mrs. Thorne-George, Auckland, will return to Wellington tomorrow. Mrs. Evelyn "Wright, Central Terrace, has returned to Wellington, after a visit to Levin. Mr. and Mrs. Stronach Paterson and family, Pipitea Street, returned to Wellington yesterday, after spending three weeks at their house at Paraparanmu. Dr. Mary Barkas, Tapu, Thames, who has been visiting Christchurch for the annual meeting of the Sunlight League, returned to the North Island this morning. Mrs. Cunningham. Greymouth, who has boon, visiting Wellington, is now spending a week in Christchurch. - Misses Violet and Helen Bcvan, Wellington, are visiting Auckland. Miss K. Howden is a -.Wellington visitor to Auckland.. Mr. and Mrs. C. Cr. Kennedy, of Wellington, are visiting Christchurch. Miss E. Nairn is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch. Mrs. 0. Gerrard, Wellington, is visiting Auckland.' "•Mrs. Harvey, Palmerston North, is a. guest at the, Midland Hotel. Miss V. Norman, Auckland, is among the guests at the Boyal Oak Hotel.
