THE "MOVIE BALL."

The "Movie Ball" is to be held in. the Town Hall on June 22. A strong committee has been making' the preparations, and aims at making the event eclipse the exceedingly successful functions presented by the cinema people^ in : the past. There will be an array of novelties, including a ' competitidn for film types and '"sets" for forthcoming productions. The ball committee comprises Misses M. Sender, Marjorie Vause, and Beryl Whittaker, and Messrs. A. C. Ashford, W. Ayre, T. Craigie, 0. Doepel, W. Hannah, Fred. Keeley, A. R. McEhvain, P. J. McGowan, A.E. Shepard, and R. Stewart.. A special publicity committee consists of Messrs. McElwain, Keeley, and Ashford. ,
