GERMAN RESENTMENT
A PROTEST LIKELY
BERLIN, May 5. The ..German Government has instructed its representative in Stockholm to inquire from the Swedish Foreign Office whether the report of a speech made by the Swedish. Minister for Commerce (Mr. Ekman) on May 1 is accurate. According to Press reports, Mr. Ekman strongly attacked the German Government, notably the Chancellor and the Air Minister. . Should such attacks have been made, the German Charge- d'Affaires is instructed to lodge a protest with the Swedish Government. The Swedish Foreign Minister has replied that an authentic version of the speech is not yet available.
