STATISTICAL REPORT
In a statistical report compiled by the secretary ■of the New Zealand Wrestling Union (Mr. G. K. Bennett) and presented to the annual meeting of delegates from affiliated associations this week, it was stated that the total "gate" for last season amounted to £12,123, as against £19,259 for the 1931 'season; £5302 was paid out to the wrestlers last year, and £8767 in 1931. Both in 1931 and in 1932 George Walker earned the largest amount of money, his biggest .individual "end" in 1932 being £145, which he gained in a match with Al. Karasick. In nil Walker had 27 matches last season, winning 24, drawing 2, and losing 1. Dean Detton had 20 matches, winning 8, drawing 5, and losing 7. Al. Karasick, Harry Mamos, and Harry Bemetral each had 19 matches, the first two winning 8 and Demetral 4. WRESTLING DATES. Wellington wrestling enthusiasts will not have an opportunity of seeing "Whiskers" Blake in action this month, according to the tentative dates which have been arranged for the remainder of the month by the Dominion Union. Tho following are the provisional matches:—May 15, at Christ-' church, Hall v. Beth; May 18, at Hamilton, Hall v. Blake; May 20, at Wanganui, Hall v. Patterson; May; 22," at Wellington, Beth v..Patterson; May 22, at Auckland, Blake v. Walker; May 24, at Hastings, Beth v. Blake; May 29, at Auckland, Patterson v. Beth; May_ 29, at Wellington, Walker y. Hall.
