The Commonwealth wool sales to the end of April represented a twrnoicr of £30,060,192, as compared with £27,250,447 during the first ten months of last season. The sales totalled 2,065,015 bales, us compared with 2,435,038 bales disposed of last season. The average price per bale for greasy wool was £11 4s 2d, or 8.63 d per pound, as compared with au average of £11 3s 5d per balo and B.od per pound for last season. Sydney sales averages "for the mouth of April and part of May were as follows:— April 8, 8.93 d per lb; April 22, 8.44 d; April 29, 7.97 d; May 6, 7.26 d per lb.
