SCRAP STEEL EXPORT

The British steamer Helmspey, which took the place of a wrecked Japanese vessel oij the berth to load scrap steel in New Zealand, will lift the following quantities:—At Westport, 1000 tons; Wellington, 4000 tons; Dunedin, 1000 tons; Auckland, 1500 tons. The Wellington loading will include railway and other scrap.
