UPPER HUTT
At Upper Hutt the sitting Mayor,, Mr. A. J. McCurdy, retained his position by nine votes on the first count' from Mr. P. Robertson, with Mr. .T. Blcwmau third. The position might easily be affected by the official count, Mr. McCurdy was beaten by Mr. W. Greig in the election of an Upper Hutt representative to the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board. ■ The results are:— MAYORALTY. •McCurdy, A.
