PRISONERS SENTENCED

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) : PALMERSTON N.; This Day.' Prisoners were sentenced today, at- the Supreme Court. Thomas John Lucinsky, aged 25, a labourer, for theft and receiving £113 at Foxton, was sentenced to twelve months' hard labour, to be followed by twelve months' reformative detention. Emil Charles Noffke, a labourer, aged 55, on a charge of arson at Woodville, was sentenced to twelve months' reformative detention. Edward Mountford Tunnicliffe, a bricklayer, aged 45, on three charges of conspiracy to defraud, involving £450 and £100, was sentenced to eighteen months' hard labour on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent. ■
