SHORT-TERM DEBT
TREASURY'S ACTION
(Received April 21, S p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 20. Senator McAdoo (Democrat, California), former Secretary of the Treasury, today introduced a Bill to authorise the issue of up to 8,000,000,000 dollars in United States notes to refund the Government's short-term debt, maturing in the next five years. .
