(Special to "The Evening .Post.") . NELSON, April.2o. For nine seats on the City Council eleven nominations were received, including all the retiring members. The nominees are: — Messrs. W. Black, P. W. -Hugging, S. A. Gibbs, S. H. Moynagh, E. R. Neale. G. L. Page, J. A. Stringer, H. E. A. Washbourne, R. Watson (retiring members), G. P. Russell (an ex-councillor), and F. H. Sharland (the well-known rifle shot). The three retiring city members of the Nelson Hospital Board: Mrs. A. Wntson, G. Wharton, and Major R. Dagger (chairman)1 are seeking re-election, and in addition the nomination o£ J. Fitz-Gerald (formerly clerk of the court at Nelson and later District Public Trustee up to his retirement a year ago), has been received. All the city members of the Nelson

Harbour Board: Messrs. F. I. Ledger, A., tie T. Gould, W. A. Wildman,' and W. 0. Harley have been nominated, and in addition F. H. Sharland is offering his services for this body. In the Richmond borough there ■will be an election for Major, the two, nominations bang: H. Warren Kelly (the present Mayor) and. H. C. Schroder (deputy Mayor). For the council only two of the retiring members, P. S. Haycock and R. J. JPolglaze, are again offering their services', the other nominations being: R. Dampier-Atkinson, J. S. Connell, G. Heaven, P. E. Jones, M. H. McGlashen, W. L. Palmer, W. E. Poole, and A. R. Tuffnell. ■ '
